Introduction
Department of Anaesthesiology has come into existence since year 2024 . Department provides high quality pre and post anaesthesia care services for a large population of western Vidarbha region with operation theatres running with modern anaesthesia work station, multipara monitors equipped with etco2 and invasive bp monitoring.
Our department started PG degree course from the academic session 2021-22. it also has bpmt (ot technician) degree course.
Department has its own ultrasonography machine(usg) , fiberoptic bronchoscope , video laryngoscope along with other modern anaesthesia equipment.
Mission
- Our mission is to provide highest standard of anaesthesia, postoperative intensive care and pain management services to the community along with evidence-based teaching to ug and PG students.
Vision
Functions & objectives.
- To increase awareness among patients and other caregivers about anaesthesia and the role anesthesiologist plays in their treatment and eventual recovery.
- To provide state-of-the-art patient care in the areas of perioperative anaesthesia, critical care and pain management.
- To provide excellence in education of PG residents, medical students and other health care providers.
- To develop an environment of caring with an emphasis on quality, patient safety, performance improvement, professionalism and compassion.
- To foster the advancement of knowledge through research in anaesthesia.
